Fisheries Department is inviting applications for appointment on Contract basis for the following post in Fisheries Development Board Islamabad initially for period of three years extendable on the basis of performance
of the incumbent. Duty station will be Islamabad with frequent travel to find areas in case of Manager Technical. Fisheries Development Board has announced these available vacancies for the posts of Manager Technical Inland Company Secretary and IT Associate.
According to the eligibility criteria candidates must having Maximum MSC or Master qualifications from any recognized University or Institution of Higher Education Commission and Minimum Graduation or BS qualification is required from any recognized University or Institution of Higher Education Commission. Fisheries Development Board (FDB) was laid out in 2007 as Public Sector Company under Section 42 of the Companies Ordinance 1984.
According to Article of Association, FDB is being administered by 15 Board of Directors. Presently, FDB is working under the managerial control of Ministry of National Food Security and Research. Over late years, the fisheries and hydroponics areas have been acquiring a rising significance in the advancement approaches of the country.
To address the blocking fisheries, improvement, the then Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock in a joint effort with the all partners had arranged the National Fisheries Policy (NFP).
