  • be enrolled in at least 12 credits each term and successfully complete at least 30 credits each year that are applicable to his or her degree program through continuous study, with no breaks in enrollment other than for specific, documented reasons;

  • be in good standing with regard to the repayment of any NYS award or a student loan issued by a state or federal education loan program;
  • be in full compliance with the terms and conditions of any previous NYS award’s service requirement; and sign a contract stating that they will reside in New York State during the award period and, if employed, remain in the state.

The application deadline is midnight on August 31, 2023.

  • No one is eligible to apply if they attended college for the first time prior to or earlier (2019 or earlier if enrolled in an approved five-year program or Opportunity Program).
