Penn GSE Merit-Based Scholarships

Full-time master’s students receiving Penn GSE merit scholarships receive partial tuition assistance in their first year of study. Scholarships are currently awarded to approximately 75% of incoming master’s students in an effort

to assist as many qualified candidates as possible. There is no application required for these Penn GSE scholarships, which are given to both domestic and international students.

The quality of your application demonstrates your merit, which is the basis for all scholarships. Based on the applicant’s academic merit, the awards are given out during the application review process by the academic divisions.

The acceptance letter details awards at the time of admission. Grants are not available and require no assistance parts. Only scholarships for the fall and spring semesters are distributed evenly.
